VSMMC EXTENDS HANDS TO SIQUIJOR PROVINCEAfter VSMMC augmented healthcare needs in NCR Plus this year, we now travel to our beloved neighbor, Siquijor Province, to ensure the spirit of bayanihan and camaraderie in this trying time of history. No one shall be left behind.
We are proud to send our 40 volunteers healthcare workers, with the team from DOH CHD-7. The team is composed of doctors, nurses, medical technologists, radiologic technologists, pharmacists, and respiratory therapists. Despite our limitations and needs, we offer equipment and supplies, together with the Department of Health - Central Visayas Center for Health Development.

Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center kicks off the Nursing Week Celebration 2021 with a theme "Compassion and Resilience for the Future of Nursing".
This is to develop consciousness among the people on the importance and availability of the nursing resources in the country. This aimed to recognize the invaluable contributions of nurses and other nursing staff, and the resilience they have shown in facing adversities brought by this pandemic.
